This accessory can be useful if you want to raise your lights off the ground without the use of a traffic cone. The Ground Stand doesn’t have anything securing it to the ground, so although highway traffic will not tip this accessory over, the high winds from a helicopter will blow this accessory over. This is why we recommend using the Weighted Base (WB.3) during LZ situations to keep your LED road flares safely on the ground.
